Franklin Community

Franklin has a unique blend of History and new growth, it was named after Benjamin Franklin. One of the bloodiest wars in the Civil War took place here, bringing thousands of historic tourists each year to visit the site of the Battle of Franklin, Carnton Plantation, the Carter House and many other historic locations throughout the city.

Franklin has a population of 64,317 (2011) which ranks 9th largest city in Tennessee, its located South of Nashville and is in Williamson County, which ranks the 17th Wealthiest County in the United States.

Franklin is an affluent suburb of Nashville and the home of many NFL Football Players, Nashville Predators Hockey Players, ESPN Analysis, TV/Radio Personality, Professional Wrestler, Famous Artist, Billionaire, Race Car Driver, Rock Bands and of course Country Music Superstars.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation has given Franklin the prestigious title of Distinctive Destination for offering an authentic visitor experience by combining dynamic downtowns, cultural diversity, attractive architecture and a strong commitment to historic preservation.
